 Calling Mountain View Businesses!

With the 2026 International soccer tournament taking place June 11–July 19, 2026, and matches being played locally from June 13–July 1, the City of Mountain View is planning a month of fan-friendly celebrations throughout the entire tournament.

We want to spotlight local businesses across Mountain View that are hosting watch parties, offering game-day specials, or creating fun, soccer-themed promotions—and that’s where you come in!

If you’re hosting a watch party, offering game-week specials, or planning a fun activation, we want to feature you. Share your plans using the link below, so we can add you to the Fan Fest Map and Calendar and highlight your business in City promotions.

By sharing your plans, your business can:

  • Be featured on a Soccer Fan Fest Map embedded on the City’s website

  • Be featured on a Soccer Fan Fest Calendar on the City's website

  • Be included in City promotions and marketing

  • Reach visitors, residents, and fans looking for places to eat, drink, stay, and celebrate

  • Take advantage of increased foot traffic during a major regional event

This is a great opportunity to promote your business, try out creative specials, and connect with both locals and visitors during an exciting week for the region. We’re super excited to showcase all that Mountain View has to offer!

Business Resources

Be sure to review the Bay Area Host Committee's Playbook with key information needed to host events, with details on FIFA regulations.

To protect your business and stay compliant, please keep these guidelines in mind when planning specials, events, or public screenings:

✅ DOs

  • Use approved & generic language "Global Soccer Tournament" or "Match Day"

  • Create soccer-themed promotions: watch parties, game-day menus, themed drinks & desserts, catering deals, hotel specials

  • Use generic imagery & hashtags: footballs, fields, trophies, team colors (no logos), #FootballFanFest, #TheBigGame, #ChampionshipWeek

  • Obtain the correct commercial package for showing the matches. Show the entire game with an extra 10 minutes on both ends

Approved FIFA promotions

 ❌ DON’Ts

  • DON'T share promotional materials with trademarks (e.g., "World Cup", "FIFA", team crests, the FIFA logo, or the official FIFA trophy)

  • DON'T imply official affiliation: "FIFA-sponsored", "official watch party", "official team event"

  • DON'T charge admission or admission fees for public screening events

  • DON'T place unauthorized branding (logos, names, or promotional materials from companies that are not official FIFA sponsors) near or around the display screens (e.g., menu boards)

Trademark enforcement is active: violations can result in takedowns, cease-and-desist letters, or fines.

If you have questions, feel free to reach out. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
