Public Art Program
On a rotating basis, works of local artists are exhibited in the lobby of the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts (MVCPA) and in the Community Development Department's lobby within City Hall. The rotating exhibits are approximately six to eight weeks in length and viewed by thousands of people visiting downtown Mountain View and attending shows at the MVCPA.
The Public Art program, supported by the City, encourages local artists to showcase their talent, creating an open-air gallery that enhances the daily lives of residents and visitors alike.
